Haley Sinclair

Haley Sinclair was born and raised in Oregon. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Reno with honors.

After college, Haley worked in Fort Collins, Colorado as a paralegal at a small personal injury firm. It was here while working on nursing home abuse and neglect cases that Haley found her passion in civil litigation. She found great satisfaction in helping those who were unable to advocate for themselves in obtaining justice against large corporations.

With this newfound enthusiasm for civil legal work, Haley returned to Portland and attended Lewis & Clark Law School. During law school, she continued to focus on how she could help injured people in her community and clerked for multiple firms focusing on personal injury and workers’ compensation law. Haley joined Thomas, Coon, Newton & Frost as a law clerk in 2023, and graduated summa cum laude in May 2024.

Haley continued to work at the firm after graduation and became one of the first five members of the Oregon State Bar admitted to practice through the Supervised Practice Portfolio Examination.

Now, Haley is growing a practice focused on assisting injured workers. She is currently an active member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) and the Workers’ Compensation section of the Oregon State Bar.

Haley currently lives with her husband and their beloved cat, Pumpkin. When not advocating for her clients, Haley can be found exploring the nearest park, museum, or comic book store.
