The automatic withdraw of Medicare premiums from a disability check can be a financial hardship for some of our clients.
For those who meet the financial guidelines, you may eligible to have the State of Oregon cover your monthly Medicare premium through the Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries (or QMB) program.
To see if you are eligible, I encourage you to call your local Aging & People with Disabilities Services office and put in an application for the QMB program.
