Cheryl CoonIf you’re an Oregonian, you should tell your legislators know what you think – because they are actually in a position to bring changes to the system. Senator Ron Wyden is the ranking minority member of the Senate Committee (Senate Finance) that can bring change to the system. And Rep. Earl Blumenauer, whose district includes much of Portland, is now on the House Subcommittee on Social Security. For the first time in a long time, Oregon’s elected representatives will be important in any changes to the Social Security system.
