Swanson, Thomas, Coon & Newton is a strong advocate of Street Roots, Portland’s leading publication dedicated to addressing poverty and homelessness since 1998. We have thrown our support behind Street Roots in many ways: by sponsoring the Rose City Resource, a pocket-sized guide to services for those experiencing poverty and homelessness in the Portland area; by participating in the Street Roots “Summer Rally” Fundraiser; and by enabling one of our legal assistants, social security support staff member Nora Coon, to serve on the board of Street Roots.
