The Oregon State Bar Bulletin recently published a profile of Amanda Ulrich detailing not only her reputation as a top litigation paralegal, but her commitment to using her skills to help address the world’s problems.
Since joining our firm more than a decade ago as a general office clerk while attending PSU, Ulrich has taken on illegal logging in Chile, genocide in Darfur and conflict mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She has clocked hours of volunteer time sifting through documents for pro bono cases, and she has organized benefit runs to raise money for endangered women. She also co-founded the Oregon Coalition for Humanity to carry out her vision for a permanent anti-genocide constituency in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
During her time at STCN, “Amanda has become so well regarded in the litigation community that our opponents have told me they breathe a sigh of relief when they see she is on a case because they know she will be so thorough in responding to their requests for production,” personal injury attorney Ray Thomas said in the article, which was written by our own Cheryl Coon, with contributions from James Coon and Nora Coon.
A strong desire to serve society lies at the core of our firm’s mission, and we’re blessed to have Ulrich’s unique combination of talent and activism on board.
