The mystery of Fibromyalgia just came a big step closer to being solved


In dramatic research results just announced, medical researchers have “solved” the mystery of where the pain caused by fibromyalgia originates.  Contrary to what many have thought, it does not stem from the brain nor is it “imaginary” or psychological.  Rather, the main source of pain stems from excess blood vessels in the hand.

The discovery may lead to new treatments and perhaps even a total cure in the future, bringing relief to as many as 5 million Americans thought to have the disease.
