We know that head injuries can be devastating. For this reason, we are proud to support the Oregon Trial Lawyer Association’s Bike Helmet Safety Project, which provides low-cost bicycle helmets to kids and adults. For the past 3 years, TCNF has donated time and money to this important program run by Legacy Trauma Nurses Talk Tough.
At fittings throughout the summer and autumn, community members can get a low cost bike helmet fitted by a trained volunteer.
Currently scheduled helmet fittings will take place at:
- Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center Health Kids Fair
2211 NE 139th St., Vancouver, WA
Saturday June 10th – 10am to 2pm - Good in the Hood Multicultural Music Festival Lillis-Albina Park
N. Russell and Flint St., Portland, OR
Saturday June 24 – 12pm to 4pm - Wilsonville Community Health Fair
Wilsonville Town Center Park
Saturday July 15 – 9am to 1pm
If you are interested in contributing to this program, you can make a donation through the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association’s public education foundation, a 501(c)(3). Please indicate that the donation is specifically for bike helmets.
