Veterans Attempt to Change Discharges Due to PTSD


While post-traumatic stress disorder is now widely recognized, it wasn’t a known diagnosis until 1980. As a result, many veterans were discharged for post-traumatic stress symptoms during the Vietnam era, and some received less than honorable discharges.
